You can drop in during The Writing Lab hours or set up an appointment if you are unavailable during those times. The Learning Center provides individual tutoring for students requesting assistance in a particular course. Students generally meet with their tutor for one hour each week for the entire semester, but this is not required, and a one-time appointment can be made upon student request. During that time, tutors review class notes, answer questions, give informal quizzes and provide study tips. All tutoring services are paid for by The Learning Center.
Tutors can be accessed at any time. Log on to the portal and click the Campus Life tab. Under the Learning Center, you will find a list of all the current tutors on staff. Just send an email to the one who is in your discipline and let him or her know of your specific need. From there you can set up a time that is convenient for you to meet.
